DSL Terms
and Conditions
Listed
below are the terms and conditions regarding your order
for DSL service with Interstar Communications Inc. By
your acceptance of all of the “Terms and Conditions” set
forth below, InterStar Communications agrees to provide
you with DSL Service.
Terms
and Conditions
The
term of the service begins on the day that you place your
DSL order. Your activation date is the day your DSL line
is provisioned OR the first day you connect to your DSL service,
whichever is comes first. You agree to pay all monthly and
one-time fees specified when your order. The fees are a one-time
refundable deposit of $30.00, plus the first month’s
service fee of $49.95. The deposit is refundable 30-days
after written cancellation has been received at our corporate
office if the following conditions have been met.
1. The customer returns all equipment in acceptable condition
as stated under
equipment terms.
2. The account is paid in full and no outstanding charges
remain.
Equipment: InterStar will provide you
with a DSL router and the necessary instructions
to set up your service along with one in-line
DSL filter. Additional filters may be purchased
for $5.50 each and will be billed to your account.
If the service order is terminated by either
party, you or InterStar, before or after the
Activation Date you must return the router
and the one in-line filter along with all of
the original packaging.
Install: If
you are unable to perform the self-installation process,
InterStar will install the service; however there will
be a one-time install fee of $100.00. This does not include
any additional equipment. You are responsible for all inside
wiring necessary to install the service.
Billing: Monthly
charges are applied the 1st business day of
each month. Invoices are due by the 10th day
of that month and all unpaid accounts are subject to termination.
Monthly fees are non-refundable. Your initial payment
may include non-recurring installation charges, including,
but not limited to equipment. Delinquent accounts
are subject to immediate termination or suspension of services
at the sole discretion of InterStar. Customer is also
responsible for all attorney and collection fees arising
from our efforts to collect any unpaid balance.
Early
Termination Charge: If
DSL service is terminated by customer or due to nonpayment
after the order has been placed but before the activation
date the deposit of $30.00 will not be refunded but instead
will be applied to your first month charges.
CANCELLATION:
If you are dissatisfied with the Service
or any related terms, conditions, rules, policies,
guidelines, or practices, your sole remedy
is to discontinue use and pay any cancellation
fees that apply.
To cancel
your DSL service a written cancellation notice must be
sent to:

Or you may email InterStar Communications at sales@intrstar.net within
(10) days of the cancellation date requested. Non-use of
service is not considered to be equivalent to cancellation.
Your account will continue to be charged $49.95 monthly
until Notice of Cancellation has been provided to
InterStar to terminate the DSL service. If customer request
reactivation of the DSL service after complete cancellation
an activation fee and deposit will be required.
InterStar may terminate the service if customer does not adhere to the company
Acceptable Usage Policy or
for any reason InterStar deems reasonable.
InterStar
reserves the right to change the price of the service
at any time with 30 days written notice. |
