No. The Star Alert sservice connect to the 24/7 monitoring center wirelessly using 4G LTE connections. You are not required to have a landline or internet connection to use this service. All is needed is a power outlet to charge the devices and you are good to go.
How much does Star Alert Cost?
The Star Alert Pendant has a $75.00 one time charge and the Star Alert Smartwatch has a $125.00 one time charge. Both services require a monthly monitoring service, which is $34.95/month. These fees pay for the 24/7 monitoring that will send help when you need it.
Do all calls for help go to First Responders?
No. You have the ability to contact friends and family for assistance if it is not a medical emergency that requires First Responders.
